First Grade Early Entrance

Arizona law requires that a child reach the age of 6 on or before August 31 for first grade. The law allows districts to permit early entrance if they choose to do so. Peoria Unified currently will test students who turn the required age between (and including) September 1 and December 31 for first grade.
